Trademark Law Moot Court Team Takes Home 2 Trophies in One Day!
Congratulations to our Moot Court Trademark Law Team for winning both:

First Place : Best Oralist (Team) and Second Place Overall at the Lefkowitz National Trademark Law Moot Court Competition in Atlanta , beating out schools like Duke, Florida , Emory , Alabama , Ohio State , and more.

Amber Nielson, Suzanne Meehle and Kevin Wimberly performed unbelievably well, amazing the judges on their way to the highest scores of the competition. Having been lucky enough to sit in on the arguments, I can tell you it was a thing of beauty.

The competition was particularly exciting because Amber, Suzanne and Kevin got to go toe-to-toe with the University of Tennessee School of Law in a great oral argument -- one of the best I've ever seen in competition. In the end, we split the awards, with Barry Law taking home Best Oralist and Second Overall, and Tennessee taking home Best Brief and First Overall ... by the narrowest of margins. It was great!

I've also got to give a nod to our second team, Imran Malik and David Carus, who also performed incredibly well. I got to see them first hand, and they were fantastic, beating both teams they faced.

What an amazing couple of weeks! Best Brief at the National Tax Law Moot Court Competition, Stephanie Knott's outstanding brief and argument to the US Court of Appeals for the Armed Forces, Runner-Up Best Brief at the National Sports Law Moot Court Competition ... and now Best Oralists and Second Place overall at the National Trademark Law Moot Court Competition.

Congratulations to everyone!!!
